Directions



Chelsea is accessible via Routes 1 and 16, both of which make connections to Interstates 93 and/or 95. The MBTA operates four bus routes with regular stops throughout the city. There is also a Commuter Rail Stop in Chelsea.

From Boston and Points South
Take 93 North through downtown Boston. Take the Tobin Bridge - Exit 27 (Route 1 North). Go over the Tobin Bridge, and take the SECOND EXIT (Fourth Street, Chelsea) Go STRAIGHT about two blocks where Fourth Street intersects with Broadway. Turn RIGHT onto Broadway. Centro Latino will be on your left at the next intersection.

From Points North
From Route 93 South take Exit 31 in Medford. Follow ramp to end of street and at the light turn LEFT onto Route 16 East. Go about 2.5 miles to the intersection with Everett Avenue in Chelsea. (Intersection with Taco Bell, KFC, Chelsea High Stadium, and Mobil) At the light, turn RIGHT onto Everett Avenue towards the High School. Go STRAIGHT for about ¾ mile passing the Mystic Mall and under the highway overpass to the end of the street. Turn LEFT onto Park Street, stay to the left for one block and take the next LEFT onto Congress Avenue. Centro Latino will be on your right at the intersection with Broadway.

Parking
Meter parking is available on both sides of Broadway, and on one side of Congress Avenue.

Public Transportation
The MBTA Bus Routes #111, 112, 114, 116, 117, all have regular stops in Chelsea.

The 111 bus travels to and from Haymarket Station (Green Line).
The 114, 116 and 117 buses travel between Wonderland Station (Blue Line) and Maverick Station (Blue Line).
The 112 travels between Wood Island (Blue Line) and Wellington Station (Orange Line), on a limited schedule.
There is a Chelsea Stop on the Commuter Rail (North Station-Rockport Line). The train stops at the intersection of Arlington Street and Sixth Street, near City Hall.
